Last Saturday was the 6th AGM for the Malaysian Sport Aviation Federation (MSAF)...
MSAF was formed under the office of MIGHT(PMs department) and DCA to monitor the sport aviation initiatives in the country.
Much have done to promote the 'new' sport but there are much to do
Last saturday, i was elected to be the Vice President (Sport & Business Development)
:)
My main job is to promote the sport aviation and also to keep the MSAF running by getting some funds an grants from the government.
One thing i did even before being the VP is by organising the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 with my friend, Din of AKA balloon..
Organising that event is just a teaser to Malaysia as we will organise more sport aviation carnival very soon...
Look out for the next SF trademark event:)

Great work!...Congratulations on your appointment..When was MSAF formed..1993?...Anyway perhaps not many of us, in Sarawak have heard about it. Recently I have been in touch with a few guys and we hope to sort things out to get us in the right direction towards the development of sport aviation. Powered paragliding(aka paramotor flying)took off in Sarawak in late 2002 and there are about 40 members now. Since 2005, a handful have also taken up free flying (paragliding.
