Malaysia Government Best Practices Version 2.0

"The Government is willing to be evaluated" the Prime Minister said.

The six NKRAs — reducing crime, fighting corruption, widening access to affordable and quality education, raising the living standards of the poor, and improving infrastructure and public transportation — were announced in July -09.

(more stories do go to http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/12/14/nation/5299146&sec=nation)

To gets things done is frankly as simple as repairing roads, etc..

Below are simple solutions for the 6 major elements of CHANGE:

No.1 Reducing Crimes:

a. patrol police officers to be on alert for robbers and snatchers instead of 'traffic offenders'!

b. more pondok police with police officers in it and not just empty pondok!

c. snathers/robbers to be lock up and not able for easy release by the police stations

Note: is personal now as my wife was rob at a traffic light near one utama! the robbers smash her passesnger car window and took the handbag and tried to get in but my wife accelerated and hit a car infront coz the robber to panic and fled)

anyway..

No.2 Fighting Corruption:

yeah rite! nice try

No.3 Widening access to affordable and quality education:

gov have done good by no more fees and text books is free now...

on the quality of our education systems... a serious study need to be done to develop a ONE unique and yet best education system for malaysian young to be ready for globalisation!

No.4 Raising the living standards of the poor:

For goodness sake we have wasted enough of tax payers money by doing stupid things ie spending hundred of millions on sporting events, etc

Its time to set up a Social Resposible UNIT in all government link companies and start implementing good programms for the less fortunate...

teaching on survival independence is always better than just giving money and rice!

No.5 Improving infrastructure:

maintain ... maintain!

No.6 Improving Public transportation:

PLEASE CARE FOR THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED HUMAN BEINGS (malaysian gov like to label as OKU)

so now ... what more waiting...start doing something and stop being consultants with good slides only!
